It suited our purposes for a short mid week stay but I thought it a bit expensive for what it was Positive: It was clean and warm. Good shower and handy location with nearby parking Kitchen facilities good Negative: A non- refundable breakages charge was immediately applied after booking which was not appreciated nor alluded to in the initial booking terms on Booking.com. There were also repeated messages with sales pitches for further ‘services’ The ‘bath’ towels got a clear thumbs down for their inability to absorb water and dry oneself after shower. General Decor was a bit random and had a clear DIY approach with many surfaces covered with decorative applied paper finishes.

The flat is a real find and added to a brilliant stay while visiting Dumfries. Positive: Felt like we were being taken care of. Best location and the inside of the flat has personality! Negative: Polyester towels although there are also some cotton ones too. While it was generally clean, some surfaces had been left to gather a bit of dust.
